Womens March 2018

It’s been one year since the first ever Women’s March that I attended in New York City. It was a confusing and chaotic time and going to the march seemed like necessary therapy for me. I’ve used this MLK (Martin Luther King) motto all year to make sure I stand up for not only myself and other women but also for those who can’t speak for themselves.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”
– Martin Luther King ✨💛

I made this sign in the hopes of attending the march, but unfortunately I felt very under the weather. I know the thousands of women attending different ones across the globe will feel the same sense of self empowerment as I did last year.
