If you don’t know already my dreams are continuously of me going back to my favorite spots in the world, boarding a plane, forgetting to pack my pants, or not being able to turn my camera on. For years, if not my whole life I have revisited the ends of the earth when I doze off to sleep.
I’ve always had a travel bug ever since I was a little girl. My father would take me on trips to London, New Zealand and Australia and for Christmas I would receive “Travel by Day” tear off calendars, books and trinkets from places my family had been.
I knew at a young age that I was privileged to see these places and experience these cultures. As I grew up I continued to have the same passion but a fear of flying did hold me back for quite sometime.
“Once you have travelled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest of chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.”

After biting the bullet and boarding a plane plenty of times I have realized the memories and photos are so much worth the anxiety of flying. I hope my photos inspire you to take leap of faith and book that ticket to the journey you’ve always wanted to take.
